Abstract: 

Engineered organs play a vital role in repairing and restoring damaged tissue. At the BioInnovation research group, we are working on skin tissue engineering grafts. We are investigating different types of skin tissue scaffolds to repair damaged skin. We also check and investigate the immunogenicity, bioactivity, and biomaterial reactions of tissue-engineered skin following the surgical and decellularization methods. Besides the skin graft, we are also developing dental grafts based on nano-hydroxyapatite particles. Soon after finishing the preclinical trials, there is a plan for clinical trials to evaluate the performance of the engineered graft or tissue.
